Day 107: February 3

Broken.
So my great mysterious title refers to bones. As in, broken bones.
If we're going technical, I have broken a bone. If we're not really into specifics and technicalities, well then I haven't broken anything.
The story with my 'broken' bone is as follows:
In grade 3/4 (slightly hazy that far back), I fell/was tripped in a basketball game. We went to get my ankle/bone x-rayed and it didn't come up with anything; it was just a sprain or twist. Fast forward to grade 7 and I'd started getting more pain. Like A LOT! So, we went for more x-rays. Again, they showed nothing. The pain continued so we went for more extreme measures. We cut off my leg. Joking! We actually got an MRI and a CAT scan, both of which are like x-rays, but show more into the bone (I think. Don't hold me up on that, because I'm just going off what I heard and it wasn't much). Anyway. The results came in: the bones I'd had x-rayed the first time had previously been broken, but as they hadn't been set properly, because the break wasn't picked up, the bones had re-healed incorrectly. So, in short, my broken ankle hadn't been picked up because the break was too deep for an x-ray machine to pick up. Decide for yourself: was it broken or not really? I mean, technically it was, but as it wasn't found, is it counted as a break? (it probably is)
Other than that, I haven't broken anything, and neither has anyone in my family. No arms, nothing. (although my mom has has her fair share of troubles with her knee and a torn achilles and also carpal tunnel and a frozen shoulder).
