Yesterday, I (well, creds to Tumblr) an, well two, amazing websites.
One is called the 'thought room'.  http://thequietplaceproject.com/thethoughtsroom/  It is totally awesome! It's kind like a friend who you tell all your worries to, except they wont laugh at you, they wont tell you to stop and they wont have smartass comments to make.
The second one is 'The Quiet Place'.
http://thequietplaceproject.com/thequietplace. This is where you go if you wanna have a break from technology, family, friends, noise; just everything. It only takes a couple of minutes, so don't be too afraid of missing out on too many things.
We definitely need more websites like this in our loves

Today we got our exams results back. I was really nervous for all my subjects, but I ended up doing well -
Maths - 81%, English (95%), Science (76%), History (80%). My only goal was to beat my scores from last semester. I beat my maths and science, dropped in history (from geography last semester) and got the same in my English.

Day 39: November 27

I am back on the computer (finally) and back at school.

I really like paradoxes. I like them because they have a meaning, but the meaning contradicts itself. They're like saying something and then saying the complete opposite thing in the next word, e.g. It is opposite day. This in itself is saying that its opposite day, but because you're saying it, it's not opposite day. I find them really hard to explain. This is my favourite one:

The Liar Paradox
(1) This sentence is false
If (1) is true, then (1) is false. On the other hand, assume (1) is false. Because the Liar Sentence is saying precisely that (namely that it is false), the alias sentence is true. So (1) is true. We've now shown that (1) is true only if it false. Since (1) is one or the other, it is both.

Also this one:
If there is an exception to every rule, then every rule must have at least one exception, the exception to this one being that it has no exception.

Thirty-nine Idioms
1. It's raining cats and dogs
2. Sticking out like a sore thumb
3. Making a mountain out of a molehill
4. Don't upset the apple cart
5. An apple a day keeps the doctor away
6. Don't upset the apple cart
7. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link
8. Blood is thicker than water
9. A kid in a candy shop
10. A leopard can't change it's spots
11. You can't teach an old dog new tricks
12. Get out of the wrong side of bed
13. Rotten to the core
14. Sour grapes
15. Finger-lickin' good (also the old KFC motto)
16. Two heads are better than one
17. Free as a a bird
18. Don't let the bedbugs bite
19. Green with envy
20. Put on your thinking cap
21. It never rains, but its pours

39. Kick the bucket

Did I bite off more than I could chew for this blog?

Day 38: November 26

Today was awesome. Myself and seven of my friends went to Bounce. Bounce is a trampolining place which has four different trampolining areas
1. The free jumping - this is where there's heaps of mini tramps and a basketball ring for dunking
2. Dodgeball - Pretty self-explanatory ----> this is where you play a game of dodgeball (seven on seven) ON trampolines
3. The foam pit area - this is where there are three 'line' tramps and you jump along one into a foam pit. Now, my friends warned me that it was hard to get it - I mean it stands to reason because the foam blocks sorta push you down. But I didn't understand how much I would suck at it. It literally took me 10 minutes to get out. I was laughing so much at my failing. I finally got out - after FORVER.
4. Advanced trampolining + foam pit - same foam pit arrangement as number 3, but this time there were other trampolines that bounced higher, ie for professional people.

After our sesh at Bounce, we trained to the city where we ate lunch and went window shopping.
Today was one of the best days.

Day 37: November 25

Today I saw two movies -
1. Breaking Dawn: Part 2
               and
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower

So Breaking Dawn was pretty great. It DID have a massive plot twist which was {SPOILERS} that the whole fight scene was just Alice's vision. It didn't actually happen. The graphic effects were absolutely brilliant! Also, my friend and I figured out that pretty much everyone looks really pretty with red eyes. This will be our next investment
Perks of Being A Wallflower was utterly amazing. I have been wanting to see this movie since July (thanks Tumblr) and it definitely didn't disappoint. I've read the book and although it didn't follow the storyline exaclty, it was perfect as it was. I totally want Patrick as my best friend.

Day 36: November 24

So I wish I was British. Why? Because of their awesome accents of course. I absolutely love accents - British, Irish, Scottish, South African, Jamaican, Texan (LOL), Welsh, French, Spanish - you get the picture. I really really don't like Australian accents. Which is ironic, considering where I live. I don't mind the generic accent, the the BOGAN Australians with the really strong accents.... UGH. American accents sometimes annoy me, but then again, many movies have American actors/actresses (with American accents, of course), and it kinda just seems normal to hear an American accent now and then. But, when you have an American with a whole crowd of Aussies/another nationality, it sounds really out of place.

Thirty-six different currency names (and if I know where they're used):1. Rand (South Africa)
2. Franc (Europe - have no clue which countries use it)

Day 34: November 22

Two down, two to go. Specifically, maths and English. One point about them, though: it's really hard to prepare for both subjects, I think. Maths, you can sort of prepare - learn the formulas, go through examples. English is much harder. This semester, we're writing an essay (on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon) and also analysing two stills from Yolngu Boy (worst movie). Anyway, there is only so much reading and going over notes you can do.

Day 32: November 20

For no apparent reason, I'm in an excitable mood. I SHOULD be stressing or worried or angry about exams, but I'm not. Before, I really felt like playing Wii, but my mom said no because she's in the room and she's writing reports (art teacher) and she has to concentrate. I think I'll play Wii tomorrow in one of my 20 minute breaks. Tomorrow is study day. We get a day off before the exams to study our asses off and tomorrow is ours.
I have been studying like a man-(wo)man and I've written half my maths summary sheet. God, social media is so distracting and sometimes ANNOYING. I have been Viber-ing and iMessage-ing with my friends the whole time. Sometimes I love social media, but sometimes I just wanna go back to the times where there was no such thing.

21. Blood Orange
22. Tiramisu

Day 30: November 18

Hey guys!
At the moment, I'm in a really good mood. I feel like sound great is going to happen! I had a basketball game this afternoon and it was so fun! We lost and I got fouled off, but it was still brilliant! I love playing sport, but the problem is 1) I'm unfit, so I get tired easily and 2) I love food just as much. One day, my ankle will be better and I'll be able to play sport for hours on end with no pain! (see what I said about my mood).
I watched episode five of Glee yesterday and it was so good! Ugh, I love Glee. It's such a joyous show; it always brightens up my day if its bad. I love singing (out of tune) to the songs. #life

Wings by Little Mix is my favourite song at the moment. It's so upbeat and happy and everytime I listen to it, it makes me energetic and pumped.
So studying in going well. At the moment, I'm on my 20 minute break. I'm working on a 45 (working) and 20 minute (break) schedule. It seemed to have worked quite well last semester, so I'm using it again.
You know whats really annoying? Knowing that you had a really good dream, but forgetting it. I remember that I was on a grassy embankment with Victoria Justice (don't ask) and we were hiding from a group of young children who we were meant to be looking after. Someone had stolen my grandmother's jewels and Victoria had spotted a shiny looking thing where we were hiding. Then I woke up. I always seem to wake up at the crux or most exciting part of my dream.

Twenty-nine birthdays that are recorded in my calender (for 2012):1. 5th Feb (aunt - mom's side)

15. 24th June (cousin - mom's side)
16. 7th July (friend)
17. 9th July (mom)
18. 10th July (cousin - dad's side)
19. 10th August (granny - mom's mom)

Day 28: November 16

*cries*. I just watched a really sad episode of Winners and Losers. One of my favourite couples broke up.
Anyway, on a slightly happier note, I have started studying for exams!! Yay! I've done a heap of science, a little bit of maths, I am seriously screwed for history (with my teacher not being here and all), and in English I think I'll be fine. I just have to go over a few of my notes and all will (hopefully) be good!

Until next time

Day 27: November 15

It is late and I'm meant to be asleep. Today was a good and bad day. School was average as a day at school can be while studying/revision is going on. Although, listen to this, if you will. Our history teacher has missed hardly any lessons the whole year and he decides to go on camp one week before our exams! First off, we have hardly learnt anything as it, so how are we meant to write this exam. And the thing I'm most amused by, (well sarcastically amused), is the fact on the bottom of the revision paper he have to a teacher to give it is, it says "if you don't understand, make an appointment with your teacher - they're always there to help". Lies. Do I see my teacher in class, ready to help. No. Does he really except us to write an essay with the topic "We are one, but we are many and from all lands on earth we come. We share a dream an speak out with one voice. I am, you are, we are Australian." Apparently he does.

One more thing. Yesterday we were doing a practice sciene test. We went through the answers at the end and our teacher said this (and I quote), " oh you haven't learnt this and I'm not sure if it's on the exam". Oh thank you, oh so useful teacher.

Twenty-seven foods/drink I will NEVER like/eat:
1. Coke
2. Pepsi
3. Tomato Sauce (vom in a bottle. My little sister lives on it)
4. Celery (smells yuck and it tastes absolutely vile)
5. Green melon (why?)
6. Red capsicum (it also smells yuck)
7. Brussels sprouts (miniature cabbages, I swear)
8. Beetroot (did someone puke in the bottle)
9. Peas
10. Baby corn
11. Snow peas (although my mom and two sisters love them)
12. Pumpkin
13. Broccoli (I used to eat the stalk)
14. Cottage cheese (I actually used to love this stuff)
15.Artichokes (although, in my family, we call them artistrangles)
16. Anchovies (my dad loves these small, salty fish)
17. Halva
18. Chocolate ice-cream (I think it tastes really fake)

Day 26: November 14

So everyone has had fish at some time in their lives. No, not the fish you eat, pet fish. Pretty much every single person I know has had fish. But I have NEVER had fish. My parents never had fish. My grandparents on my dad's side haven't ever had fish. My grandparent's on my mom's side used to have fish, but they kept dying, so my grandpa just stopped getting. I don't even understand the fascination with fish, anyways. Yes, some of them are really pretty and when I'm older I want to get a 'wall of fish', kinda like whats found in a dentist room or something. You can't pet them and you can't even take them for walks. So why?

Twenty-six things that you can almost ALWAYS find inside my bag/purse:1. My phone
2. My ipod
3. My headphones
4. Pawpaw cream (this is stuff of the gods)

12. A BOOST juice card (in my purse)
13. Gum (mostly mint, but sometimes other flavours)
14. Gum wrappers
15. Chopsticks (I've had these chopsticks in my bag for about 5 months and I've got absolutely no clue why. Maybe in case of a chopstick emergency?)
16. Old movie tickets
17. A Myki case (which I don't use, because it doesn't fit very well into my purse)
18. Old receipts
19. Small packet of tissues
20. Voucher of some sort
21. Offers for things that are found in the entertainment book (in my purse)
22. A shopping list for what I'm buying
23. Loose change in my bag
24. Keys (with attached USB)
25. Bobby pins (even though I think bobby pins are satan's spawn)
26. Water (but only sometimes, and mostly only if I'm seeing a movie).

p.s. I was meant to have started studying for exams, but I got sidetracked. *cries*

Day 25: November 13

Yes, I know it's technically not the 13th, but as this is the first chance I have had to write, I am seizing it by the horns and writing. But, before I go on, I must explain to you WHY I haven't written... I WENT TO COLDPLAY'S MYLO XYLOTO CONCERT TOUR and I swear, it was literally THE MOST incredible thin I have ever experienced. Fireworks, 'moving' stages, giant butterflies, confetti, just to name a few. And, of course, Chris Martin's voice. Just the most perfect thing ever!! (I also saw The Pierces and The Temper Trap).
Seriously, Coldplay is a night I will never, EVER, EVER, forget. (I also got a Mylo Xyloto t-shirt to commemorate the occasion)

22. Nissan Micra (in sync with the city)
23. SUV
24. Ute
25. Minivan

Good night for now (or good morning) !!

Day 24: November 12

So I'm a Harry Potter nut and I wanna yell it out loud! So, when I was younger, I thought Harry Potter was stupid. My mom recommened the book to be and I was like , "no, ew". I really wish I could take that back... Anway, fast track a few years down the track, I was like to myself, "well, everyone's making such a big fuss, let me see what it's about". And see what it was about, I did. I instantly fell in love with Harry, Hermione and Ron. Not to mention Luna, Sirius, James, Lily, Dumbledore, Ginny,  McGonagall and Hagrid. There were people I disliiked - Filch, Umbridge, Draco, Crabbe, Goyle. Then there was Snape. He was always sitting on the fence for me. There were moments I hated, no detested him, but there were moments where I thought his courage could beat no other. Then came "always". We had pre-ordered the kast book and we went to collect it. We had a countdown. I mean, come on, it was the last Harry Potter book. My sister read it in 9 hours straight. I read it after her. Wow. Fast forward to 2011 - July 15th (I think). It was the midnight premiere of the last Harry Potter movie, ever. I dressed up as Hermione. I sat through the whole thing - laughing and smiling, but I didn't cry. There were heaps of tears from other people, but as I sat there, I decided that I wouldn't cry. I didn't want to watch the movie through blurry eyes. All too soon, the movie was over. But Harry Potter will never end.

With that in mind,
Twenty-four Harry Potter spells (without using the internet and trying to name what the spells do):
1. Alohomora (opens locked doors)
2. Wingardium Leviosa (It's LeviOsa, not LevisAR! - It's a levitation spell)
3. Sectumsempra (I don't know what it exactly does, but I know it's bad and Harry uses it on Draco in the Half Blood Prince)
4. Repairo (Repairs stuff, namely, Harry's glasses)
5. Petrificus Tortalus (bad with the spelling, but this is a body-binding spell)
6. Avada Kedavra (The killing curse! - unforgivable curse)
7. Confundus (Makes the person become highly confused)
8. Agumenti (makes water appear)
9. Accio (makes an object come towards you, eg. Accio maths book, and it'll come to me)
10. Silencio (renders the victim temporarily mute)
11. Riddukulus (used to counteract a Boggart)
12. Lumos (makes a light at the tip of your wand)
12. Nox (takes away the light)
13. Crucio (tortures the victim 0 unforgivable curse)
14. Reducto (Blasts solid objects to the side)
15. Ingorgio (Makes items bigger)
16. Levicorpas (Lifts you in the air by your ankle. Non-verbal)
17. Diffindo (makes items smaller)
18. Muffliato (Creates a buzzing sound in the victims ears)
19. Impreio (controls the victim and is the third unforgivable curse)
20. Morsmorde (conjurs the Dark Mark)
21. Obliviate (memory loss charm)
22. Protego (shield charm)
23. Tarantallegra (forces your opponent to dance)
24. Expectro Patronum (Produces a patronus)

Yay, I did it (with a little help from my sister)

Sunday 11 November 2012

Day 23: November 11

So much to do, so little time. I have finally decided on what I'm doing for one of my projects (with the help of my sister). So, now I have to collect what I need and BEGIN! Day 22: November 10

So my exams are in one week and four days. The Coldplay concert I'm going to is in two days.

I haven't started studying. I have absolutely NO motivation to study. I reckon when one week comes around, my brain (will hopefully) start to 'kick in' and I'll actually have some motivation to study and learn. It feels like I've lost my love of learning. Normally, I love learning about things (even if they are stupid) and being at school. Lately, it's as if I can't be bothered anymore. I think my mind is going faster than reality and I'm already at the end of the term. Everything's been said and done. But, in reality, we still have three weeks (or so) left and then I've got my Duke Of Ed Hike. Totally not looking forward to that! But, anyway, back to topic. I always have these great intentions to start studying and then I look at my books and I'm like 'nahhhh', and it never gets done.

Twenty-two types of footwear:1. Thongs/slip-slops

Day 21: November 9

Popping candy is the stuff of gods. It feels so weird (and totally awesome) on your tongue. Just sayin'.
Look what amazing thing I found (Creds to Tumblr):
Sonder (n)
The realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own - populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness - an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you'll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a bur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.

It's such a weird relisation that each and every person around you is living a life similar, yet so different, to yours. They want some of the things you want, but they also have completely different dreams and goals. That person you just passed, walking around like a lost sheep? Well, they're also looking forward to meeting someone. It's just that their dream may be a little while off. Maybe yours will come true in 10 days, or 5 months or maybe you'll have to wait a couple of years. Who knows?

Twenty-one quotes that`I have on my door:  (I went through a stage of being obsessed with quotes, so I wrote down my favourite ones on black pieces of paper in gold and silver pen and put them on my door).
1. Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get - Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump)
2. We were like peas and carrots, Jenny and I- Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump)
3. I said what I meant, and I meant what I said, and an elephant's faithful 100% - Horton (Horton Hears A Who)
4. Fear of a name only increases the fear of the thing itself - Hermione Granger (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets)
5. The trouble with being the Prime Minister's sister is, it does put your life into rather harsh perspective. What did my brother do today? He stood up and fought for his country. And what did I do? I made a papier-mache lobster head. - Karen (Love Actually)
6. A person's a person, no matter how small - Horton (Horton Hears a Who).
7. Wait, if you're from Africa, why are you white? Karen, you can't just ask people why they're white - Karen and Gretchen (Mean Girls)
8. My name's Forrest Gump. People call me Forrest Gump - Forrest Gump (forrest Gump)
9. Enough. Enough now. - Mark (Love Actually)
10. You've seen the films kiddo. It ain't over til it's over - Daniel (Love Actually)
11. I'll be back. - Terminator (The Terminator)
12. There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends - Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone)
13. My mama always said you've got to put the past behind you before you can move on - Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump)
14. Check it's collar or something - Alan (The Hangover)
15. There is no good and evil. There is only power and those too weak to seek it - Quirinus Quirrell (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone)
16. It does not to dwell on dreams and forget to live - Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone)
17. Luke, I am your father - Darth Vader (Star Wars) - Apparently, this quote is very often misquoted. It is not actually, Luke, I am your father, it is actually No, I am your father, but I like the Luke one more, so why not?
18. No, I think I'll go down and have some pudding and wait for it all to turn up... it always does in the end - Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)
19. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? - Evil Stepmother (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves)
20. May the force be with you - Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)
21. (My favourite quote of all time) - Whenever i get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that.It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion...  love actually is all around. - Prime Minister (Love Actually).

Woah, that was a lot of writing. (I am writing/typing this while sitting on my floor. No apparent reasons why).
GUYS, I REACHED THREE WEEKS!

Thursday 8 November 2012

Day 20: November 8

So today I had to take out my contact lenses and wear my glasses :( *cries* People always ask me, when I'm wearing my glasses, if I wear glasses. I always (well, almost always), reply with a sarcastic, "no, they're just for props" (or something along the lines of that).

Guys, I learnt how to use Photoshop (sort of). I struggled along in my class, but I definitely know more than I did before (which was nothing).

Day 19: November 7

School wasn't bad. I got out of the first, fifth and sixth periods by helping with the art show. Period two we had a maths test on surds, which wasn't THAT bad except I didn't know what an 'entire surds' was. Period three and four were the worst. We had double English and in English we're analysing stills as practice for our exams. Our stills are from 'Yolngu Boy, which is the worst movie known to mankind. Anyway, I COULD NOT write the analyses. I struggled and struggled. I wrote one, but it sucked. Ugh. We're so close to exams and I still can't write stuff. #screwed. Today was also 7/11 day, where we get free Slurpees. This year they've introduced a 'voucher'. You have to download a voucher from the Internet, bring it along and get the barcode scanned. The scanner was broken. Great.

Nineteen bottles/cans I have in my collection:
1. A NestlĂ© Milo can
2. Peach Nectar bottle
3. Pineapple Fanta can

That's All Folks

Day 18: November 6

I don't understand Melbourne. I mean, where else would you get a day off for horse racing? Besides the fact that it's stupid and unfair to the horses, it's just horse-racing. People everywhere, everyday, get public holidays for Independence Day or Labour Day. But here, in Melbourne, we get a day off so people can dress up pretty, go to the races and wear fascinators (my mom and I love laughing at the pictures of fascinators in the magazines. Some of them are just downright ridiculous. They certainly are fascinating).
So, back to the public holiday. Mind you, I'm not complaining, per se (because we do get a day of school), but its a totally weird concept to grasp (and I've been here for 7 of them).

Eighteen round/oval foods:1. Donut (pink glazed are the best)
2. Bagel (plain, sesame and then the black seeds - I always forget the name)
3. Cake

15. Grapes
16. Rice cakes
17. Cupcakes
18. Oranges

(p.s. I DIDN'T use the internet) #proud

Monday 5 November 2012

Day 17: November 5

We didn't have school today! Why? Because this year, the teachers decided to be nice, in deciding that we get the day between Cup Day and the weekend off, in case, a) we wanna go away or b) we don't actually wanna waste our time going to school on that day. (I'd take a bet that most kids are in the latter category).

In ALL American movies, well ones involving high schools, there seems to be cliques of some sort.
Seventeen cliques that can be/are found in American high school (or primary school movies):
1. Sluts (yes, excuse my throwing around of words)
2. Religious people (there doesn't seem to be a nickname for them?)
3. Musos
4. Jocks
5. Nerds
6. Populars (similar to sluts? - again, excuse my terminology)
7. Indies
8. Emos (terminology...)
9. Goths (once again, sorry)
10. Stoners/burnouts
11. Arty people
12. Geeks (once, my IT teacher gave our class a lecture on the difference between a geek, a nerd and a dork. Lets just say it was an interesting lesson...)
13. (Desperate) Wannabees (#reference)*
14. Teeny Boppers (ugh, taking over the world. I think their den is Supre)
15. Girls who eat their feelings (#reference)*
16. Girls who don't eat anything (#reference)*
17. Unfriendly black hotties (#reference)*

*My friends and I are obsessed with hashtagging things. Most of them have Twitter, but not all (and certainly not I). Recently, my friend made up the #reference tag whenever we refer to something or quote it. My favourite tags are #rude and #reference

Until tomorrow, goodbye.

Sunday 4 November 2012

5. Miniature thongs/slip-slops (the shoe, not the clothing piece). (ie. keyrings and earrings)
6. Harry Potter memorabilia
7. Stickers (I have about 400 different stickers)

14. Train tickets (well, that's been stopped in it's tracks (no pun intended), because now there's Myki and no more Metcards *cries*)
15. Scooby Doos (no, not the dog, the 'plastic' ones that are made from 'strings'. I could never manage to 'make the 'square' scooby doo, I could only make the 'circle' one)
 16. Tazos (stopped now, as they don't have the tazos in Australia, but when I lived in South Africa, I collected them like nobody's business. There were heaps of different kinds and we used to play games to swap and to win them off others).

It's hot again here. *wails*

Day 15: November 3

So today is Saturday, which means its the best day in the week. Why? Well I'm glad you asked. Saturday is the only day in the week where you don't have to worry about having school the next day. (of course there's friday, but on friday, you've already had school, so it loses points).
Saturdays are good for doing absolutely nothing (except homework *cries*)

Day 14: November 2

Finally, it's Friday!!
This day has dragged on and on. This morning, my friend and I were seeing teachers, so we were late to class. This meant we had to go to the office to get a late pass and we had to wait there for 20 minutes while the vice principal yelled at kids for being late and that 'they couldn't go to period one, because there are no late passes'.
We finally got it, after 20 minutes of being scared of getting a detention. History was boring as usual. (I normally like history, but this it is really bad. We're studying Australian history. Why? Of course it's important to know the history of your country.  Actually, I really don't care.)
Then English. English is generally one of my favourite subjects, but the film we're studying at the moment is horrible! It's called Yolngu Boy and it's about three Aboriginal boys who make their way to Darwin from Armhem Land (500km from Darwin.). The acting is absolutely shocking!).
Next, for two periods, I helped set up for the art show - I pretty much floated around and make pom-poms while socialising with people. That was fun.
Then was lunch and I had to change for MSLA (Mckinnon Sports Leadership Award). We walked to a primary school to do our duties (we are running games - learning how to be a sports leader). I swear, some of those kids are totally bitchy and are not going to have bright futures.

Anyways

Day 13: November 1

Alright, a few things to discuss first.
One, HAPPY NOVEMBER.
Two, worst day. ( as in, I have had the worst day). We, as in my friends and I, had a fight. It was all stressful and then she told us something, but I don't know whether to believe her. Like, I don't think she's straight out lying, I just think she's exaggerating. Although, she sorta did justify her reasoning.

Three, I don't like the beach. As a child, I loved it. It was all fun and you could make sandcastles and splash around and have water fights. Now, I just hat sand. Sand gets everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE! But, don't get me wrong. If the weather is perfect and my friends invite me to the beach, I'll go. I might be grumpy at the start, but once I'm there, having fun, I'll love it.
(there was actually a point to the random ramble about the beach)
Thirteen things I take to the beach:1. Towel
2. Goggles
3. Tennis Ball
4. Thongs/slip-slops (shoes)
5. water
6. Money
7. Phone
8. A book
9. My ipod
10. sunnies (sunglasses)
11. Sunscreen (I get sunburn whether it's 18C or 30C)
12. Bathers/swimming costume
13. Hat

P.s. After three days of sweltering hot temperatures, I woke up today to the sound of rain. Top of 17 degrees (Celcius).
