Day 144: March 12

Today marks the 24th wedding anniversary of my parents and the 60th wedding anniversary of my grandparents.

They were both married on the same day, 36 years apart. It's pretty cool.

So apparently I've booked a wedding date.

We made salmon, rice, bok choi, cabbage salad and chocolate mousse for my parents.
We skyped my grandparents as they live in Cape Town.

I remember visiting them, 10 years ago today, for their 50th (golden) wedding anniversary. Oh wow. 10 years. It seems so much longer; it's weird how time stretches out when you're not with someone constantly. It was a glorious affair; I mean 50 years! 50 years of togetherness, love and happiness... together.

Now, 60. Diamonds all round.

Next year my parents will have been together for 25 years. Silver for all!
