Day 146: March 14

We got 514722 forms to look at and fill out for Central.
Dad: Do you think we should take out insurance?
Mom: Yeah, maybe because it's Lauren
Dad: Yeah, she'll probably break an ankle or something.

And then my mom couldn't fill in the medical form.

In film studies, we're watching One flew over the cuckoo's nest starring Jack Nicholson. It got brilliant reviews and both Jack Nicholson and the lady that played Nurse Ratchet got awards.

I don't like it.

It's just boring. I like movies where things HAPPEN and there's an actual EVENT. I like Martini and McCarthy and the Chief but it's just so... plain. Maybe I just thought it would be better because of the rave reviews it got.

As much as I don't like it, I think Jack Nicholson is bloody amazing. He played RP McCarthy like it was nobody's business and he damn well deserved that Oscar (not that anyone says any different). Apparently Nurse Ratchet got typecast (which means people thought that Nurse Ratchet's personality was that of the actress and because of that she never got any other major films). Which totally sucks!
