Oh em gee, it's the last day of holidays. I swear, time always goes 3x faster during the holidays than it does term time. Has there been a study on this yet? Obviously it's psychological, unless there is time travel and we're all participating. Ask anyone: during the holidays, the period before exams and sometimes the end of terms also seem to go way faster than the beginning/middle of the term, which seem to the slowest periods ever. Seriously. Okay, mark my words people: I WILL do a study like this someday. It might not be a good study, but it will be done. Mark my words.
