Day 103: January 30

Oh the glorious sounds of being up early. The birds squawking at anything that breathes, the dogs howling and barking at the birds and the human beings yelling at the dogs to shut up. Add in the sounds of cars, teachers lecturing, people gossiping, does slamming and the banging of locker doors and you've got a cacophony of noise. It's like your own personal, out-of-tune orchestra. Seriously, I think our generation should be called Gen N, on account of all the noise we make. Constant music, pen tapping, iPad/iPod/iPhone game sounds and the TV blaring constantly. I really like the noise; it's rather comforting. It's like you know there's always someone there to help. One day, just sit/stand/lie somewhere for 15 minutes and listen to all the noise. It's amazing what you'll hear.
