Day 93: January 20

Many things to discuss today:
I have officially lived in Australia for 8 years. This time eight years ago, I was actually probably flying, but this is official enough. If you've just tuned in, I am originally from South Africa and came here when I was 7. I have also been here, in Australia, for longer than I lived in South Africa, which was my birth country. Weird stuff.
Yesterday, I saw Jennifer Hawkins. For the people who don't know who she is, she is an Australian-born international model. Yesterday, as my mom and I were strolling along the streets of Sydney, we came across the auditions for Australia's Next Top Model. I love the auditions and might even make an appearance to watch at the Melbourne ones. Anyway. I was walking past, and then Jen is right there!! Oh my god. Also, Alex Perry. BUT OMG, I SAW JENNIFER HAWKINS. She seems like one of those people, like Miranda Kerr, who is effortlessly flawless in appearance as well as personality. Exciting stuff.
I am not a virgin anymore. Not a Max Brenner virgin anymore. Just to make this clear, I have NOT had sex, but for the first time, I went to Max Brenner. I went for breakfast and had the belgium waffles with strawberries, chocolate, ice-cream (vanilla) and banana. I also had a white hot chocolate with waffle balls. Just one thing: how can something as superficial as chocolate make someone so happy?
